Final Stages: Strategic Planning for DCEDC
Thoughtful information has been gathered
through Focus Groups and online survey responses so we are ready
to begin formulating our plan. To accomplish this, the DCEDC Board
will gather for a workshop facilitated by Dr. Bob Gleeson of the
NIU Center for Governmental Studies later this month.
The group will consider data on economic and social change in DeKalb
County as well as the input garnered in the various focus group
meetings. By the end of the session key strategic issues and specific
goals for DCEDC to address will be identified. These issues and
goals will be the foundation for our strategic plan. We remain on
target to complete this work by year's end.
